isabel is a creative director currently making things at Apple.
New York based by way of Nicaragua, Abu Dhabi, London and Dubai — Originally from Madrid, Isabel grew up moving around the globe. She studied Advertising in Dubai, prior to spending a summer at Central Saint Martins in London and later graduating with a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design.
Before her current role at Apple, she served as Design Director at Thinkful, where she lead the vision to reimagine the brand’s future thinking approach.
Isabel is a Print Magazine Regional Design Award, SPD Silver Medal and American Illustration Award winner for her Art Direction and Design work at Refinery29. She’s been recognized by the Society Of Illustrators, AIGA and The One Club — Isabel has also been featured in Forbes, Eye On Design, Art Directors Club and WNW Magazine among others.
Shorty Award winner, ADC Young Ones 2018 juror and D&AD New Blood Mentor. Isabel loves to hustle and collaborate with other creatives. Examples include Forever29, Cool Hangs and Art On Link. She has also been a guest lecturer at SVA, Shillington and Parsons, where she recently gave a speech to the graduating class of 2020.
